Explain the line: “Unknowing I understand”

Answer: Standing under the vast sky, the poet comes to realize that he is too little to be compared to the vastness of the universe. He also comes to know that his span of life is very short. These facts incite the poet to find the way to be immortal. He knows very little about this universe. In spite of having very little knowledge, the poet suddenly discovers the way to be immortal. He considers that the existence of the stars has immortalized the secret origin of this universe. So, he finds his creations i.e. poetries as the medium to be immortal as after his death he will be alive among the future generations who will read them. Thus, the poet quite unknowing the vast universe, understands the secret of immortalization.
