Write a letter to the Editor of an English daily expressing grave concern about the rampant misuse of mobiles especially by the teenagers.

To

The Editor,

The Telegraph,

Kolkata—01.

Sir,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your highly esteemed daily so that I may ventilate my opinion to draw the attention of the due authority about the rampant misuse of mobiles especially by the teenagers.

Day by day, teenager students are getting very much mobile addicted and also misusing the mobile very much. They are often seen around us using cell phones. In public places, in buses, trains, trams, theatre and even in hospitals and auditoriums, they often use it ignoring the situation or enjoy songs loudly. They don’t care to the loud voices of mobile videos or songs which cause trouble to other fellow passengers or nearby people. The teenagers fashionably use mobiles even while driving a bike or a car and cause accidents. They sometimes, are getting so much mobile-addicted that they use it when they cross road or railway track. Naturally, they become victims of accidents. Sometimes, they take or record objectionable snapshot and video clip of someone and circulate it through WhatsApp, Facebook and it sometimes comes out fatal. They often get access to the unwanted sites through mobile internet and commits crime out of fun. Also, in the name of digital education, students are misusing the mobile phone and are getting pornography addicted.

This is a matter of grave concern. The guardians should immediately be conscious about their wards. The teenagers should be given proper counselling at school and home. The Govt. should also strictly enforce vigilant laws.

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,
