CAREER COUNSELLING PROGRAMME IN HARIPUR HIGH SCHOOL

Santipur, 22/02/2023: Yesterday a career counselling programme was organised in Haripur High School with the purpose of helping students to choose the right career path. The programme was conducted by experienced professionals and was attended by both teachers and students. The programme started by explaining the importance of career counselling and how it can help students to make the right career choices. The experts then discussed the various career options available to students and the importance of making an informed decision. The experts also discussed the various resources available to students to help them make the right career decisions. They provided information on the different types of career tests and job search websites. They also discussed the importance of networking and internships in career development. The experts concluded the session by emphasizing the importance of staying motivated and having a positive attitude. The programme was well-received by both teachers and students and was a great success.
Honestly this sounds like a really useful session for the students. When I was in school we never had anything like this, so most of us were just guessing what career to pick. Having professionals come in and actually talk about options, internships, and networking probably helped a lot of students see things more clearly. I especially like that they talked about using different resources and career tests too. Stuff like that makes a big difference. I remember when I was studying, I even had to look for help with nursing assignments online because guidance wasn’t always easy to find, so programmes like this can really give students a head start.
