NIRMAL VIDYALAY OBSERVATION IN HARIPUR HIGH SCHOOL

Santipur, Jan 9: Govt. of West Bengal introduced many programmes to keep our nature and environment clean and recently the government has published a notice for all the schools to undertake a week’s Nirmal Vidyalay observation Programme in their schools. In this regard, Haripur High School had observed that programme from 1st of January to 8th of January. Each day during the programme, all the students and school staffs participated enthusiastically. First three days were taken to clean the school premises, school rooms, and surroundings. Students brought broom, spade, bucket with them and under the guidance teachers, they performed the clearance programme. On fourth and fifth day, a seminar on the cleanliness and hygiene was arranged in the school. Guests, teachers delivered their speech on its importance. They also advised students how to keep environment and surrounding clean. On sixth and seventh day, rally was organised throughout the locality. Students participated in it in huge number with placards to make common people aware of it and why it is necessary for all of us. On the last day, the programme ended with oath-taking ceremony to keep school and environment clean.
