How did Leela’s parents and Leela react to Leela’s missing chain?

 When it was seen that Leela had lost her gold chain, immediately Leela’s mother suspected Sidda. She directly threatened him and mentioned the police. When Leela’s father came home and came to know to the matter, he grew excited and went to police station to lodge a complaint. They all firmly began to suspect Sidda as Sidda had already fled away from their house.

 To it, Leela reacted nothing. Later she was heard to remark that Sidda had not taken the chain.
