Justify the title of the prose “Thank You Ma’am”. “The boy wanted to say something else other than “thank you ma,am”to…………………..”—Why does the boy want to say something else other than “thank you ma,am”?

Qu. Justify the title of the prose “Thank You Ma’am”.

Ans: Title of any writing reflects its main spirit. Here the title of “Thank You Ma’am” is not exceptional. (The main character, Mrs. Jones catches Roger who tries to snatch her purse. Then she brings him to her house. Instead of sending him to jail, Mrs. Jones begins to care him, makes face washed, gives him towel and comb and offers him food. At this the boy becomes overflowed and begins to trust her. At last when she gives him ten dollars to buy blue suede shoes, he becomes more emotional and speechless by her motherly tenderness and kindness and to express her gratitude to the lady) he just manages to say “thank you”. He says so from his heart of hearts. So, in all respect, the title is very much apt.

Qu. “The boy wanted to say something else other than “thank you ma,am”to…………………..”—Why does the boy want to say something else other than “thank you ma,am”?

Ans: Add the bracket portion of the above state answer + he wants to say something else other than “thank you ma,am”.
