A HORRIBLE STREET ACCIDENT BETWEEN WEDDING VAN AND LORY

     Santipur, 16.01.13: Yesterday at about 5 a.m a horrible street accident between a wedding van and a lorry took place on 34 no. national high way near Santipur. According to the special source the wedding van was coming from the south direction and the lorry was coming from the opposite direction. The eyewitness said that both the vehicles were travelling at high speed in the dense fog. While negotiating a turn on the road, the lorry made a head on collision with the van. The source added that 6 passengers died on the spot including a children and 10 passengers were seriously injured . Hearing the sound of the accident the local people came to rescue the victims and pulled out the injured passengers from the overturned van. The seriously wounded persons were sent to the nearby hospital and minor wounded persons were released after first-aid. According to the latest news the Police came and brought the situation under control.
