Respected Sir/Madam,

                 I, Madan Ghosh, a resident of Nrisinghapur, Santipur, am writing this letter on behalf of the residents of our locality. We are facing an issue of unhygienic environment in our locality. There is a lot of garbage and debris piled up in the street corners and on the roads, which is not only unpleasant to look at but also a major health hazard. Those garbage have become the breeding place of flies and mosquitoes. We cannot walk in our locality freely. Many diseases have already broken out in our locality.

We have made several attempts to remove the garbage but it is not enough. We are now requesting you to run a cleaning programme in our locality. This would help us to keep our locality clean and free of any health hazards.

We would be very grateful if you could please arrange for the cleaning programme in our locality. (We understand that it is not an easy task and would require a lot of resources. However, we assure you that we would do our part in making the programme a success.) We look forward to your kind understanding and immediate action in this regard.
