How was Leela behaving after Sidda’s departure? What was Leela’s reaction when the police brought back Sidda to their home?

* Sidda and Leela were very good friends and they always played together. Besides, Sidda told her fine stories. But when Sidda fled away from Sivasanker’s house, Leela became very sad. She refused to go to bed to sleep as Sidda was not there to tell her stories. Even her mother could not manage her. Leela always blamed her mother for Sidda’s escape as she always rebuked him and made him sleep outside the house. 

* But when a police inspector and a constable brought Sidda to their home, Leela was overjoyed. She ran down the steps to meet him. The inspector asked Leela not to go near to Sidda as he was a thief. But Leela did not care to listen. Rather she became very angry with every one as they had caught Sidda. She also proclaimed that Sidda had not taken her chain.
