Answer: In the story Jimmy Valentine by O’ Henry, it is seen that after meeting with Annabel, Jimmy changed himself completely from a burglar to an honest man. But famous detective Ben Price appears there to arrest him and surprisingly Jimmy becomes ready to be arrested. But the story takes a surprising turn when Ben Price, noticing the change in Jimmy, intentionally refuses to identify Jimmy. Here the real climax of the story lies.
