SEVERE CYCLONE HITS COSTAL ORISSA

     Puri, Aug13: Yesterday at about 6.45 pm a severe cyclone hits the costal areas of Orissa including Puri,Baleswar and Paradwip. According to the special source the cyclone hits those regions at 80 km per hour. The eyewitness said that the storm creates huge tidal waves which made a great damage on the costal area. The source added that the total loss of properties and crops is around 2 crores. Many houses were collapsed. So many people have been houseless. The total communication system has been suspended. According to the latest news the Government has already taken many steps for the victims. Many camps have been set up by many social organizations. Tents, dry foods etc are being distributed among the victims. Now the total area is in darkness.
