DISTRIBUTION OF FREE CYCLE UNDER SABUJ SATHI PRAKALPA

Santipur, Feb 21, 2021: West Bengal Government has introduced the Sabuj Sathi Prakalpa for the distribution of bi-cycle among all the students of Class-IX, studying in Government-run, Govt.- Aided Schools and Madrasahs of this state. Yesterday, under this project, more than 300 bi-cycles were distributed among the students of Class-IX of Nrisinghapur High School of Santipur Block from Krishan Mandi premises, Phulia. The programme was regulated by the concerned Nodal officer of Santipur Block. Also, at that time, BDO, Mr. Ranjan Ghosh and the Headmaster Mr. S. Vidyanta both were present. Headmaster said that in this project, many needy students of remote area would be very much benefited and now they could run their study smoothly. After the full distribution of cycle, a cultural programme was held at that premises. Songs, dances were performed by the students. Then BDO sir gave a short speech and it was an inspirational speech to the girl students and all, present there, applauded the speech. Few students also expressed their joy and excitement in their speech. At last, with the speech of Headmaster, the programme ended at 2 pm.
