Sub: An application for lodging an F.I.R regarding a theft.

Sir,

       I, Sital Bose, C/O- Asit Bose, an inhabitant of Haripur Gram panchayet, beg to state you that a theft has been committed in our house last night on the ground floor. No one stays on the ground floor. There are two rooms on the ground floor in which we keep some many articles such as some utensils made of brass or stainless steel, some tools, some old furnitures etc. The thieves broke the lock of one of the rooms, and robbed some of the articles worth about two thousand rupees. We came to know about the theft in the morning i.e. today.

     So, I request you to treat this note as an official complaint and record it in the F.I.R and take necessary legal action in this regard. I also request you to acknowledge the receipt of this complaint quoting the F.I.R. number with date.
