CORDIAL FAREWELL TO A TEACHER IN NRISINGHAPUR HIGH SCHOOL

Santipur, 15th October: Yesterday a programme was held in Nrisinghapur High School to bid farewell to Sri Sunil Mukherjee, the Life Science teacher. He serviced in the school for 35 years. On the eve of his retirement, the Head master presided over the meeting which was attended by the School Managing Secretary, assistant teachers, staffs and all the students. With the opening song the programme was started and then it was followed by some speeches by some of the teachers who spoke highly of him about his love, sacrifice for school and for students. The Head Master also mentioned his earnest respect for him for his lifetime dedication. The retiring teacher also gave his small heart-touching speech. His throat was choked and his eyes became full of tears. He gave the students his blessing and advised them to be sincere in life. At the end of the programme all the students thanked him and wished him a long, peaceful retired life.
