‘SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE’ CAMPAIGN ORGANISED BY NRISINGHAPUR HIGH SCHOOL

Santipur, Feb 21, 2021: West Bengal Government has introduced ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ campaign to decrease the rate of street accidents. Yesterday Nrisinghapur High School of Santipur Block had organised a campaigning programme and rally to make people and students aware of this government’s initiative. At 11 am, students made a rally in the locality with placards and slogans. The teachers guided them. Few students performed street drama to encourage people to use helmets and obey traffic rules while driving. Besides, they made people aware of the casualties for not obeying traffic rules. At the end of the rally, a stage-programme was held on school premises. That programme started with the speech of the Headmaster. He told the benefits on ‘Safe Drive Save Life’ campaign and advised all to drive and walk safely on the road. Then students performed a short cultural programme and tried to spread the essence of this campaign among the other students with their songs, dance. At last, the honourable MLA gave a significant speech and the whole programme came to an end.
