Suppose you bought few books from a local store. But after reaching home, you noticed one of the books was totally damaged. Now write a letter to the owner of the store to replace or refund.

To
Sri Subrata Roy,
Owner,
Saha Book Stall,
Santipur, Nadia.

Sub: Letter to replace or refund for the damaged book.
Sir,
I, Saraswati Mahato, a resident of Nrisinghapur, Santipur, Nadia, beg to state you that I am a regular customer of your book store and on 10/04/2021, I bought few books of my syllabus from your store. The purchasing bill number is- 115. But after reaching home, I noticed that an important book titled “Easy English” is damaged. Most of the pages of that book are torn out and I cannot read them properly. That book is very much important for me as my annual examination is very near and without that book, my preparation will be incomplete.

Under such circumstances, I am returning the book to your end and request you to replace the book with the same. If the another same one is out of stock at your store, kindly refund the money so that I can buy it from another store. A photocopy of purchasing bill is attached to this letter to testify my words.
Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,
Saraswati Mahato
