Sir,

     I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your highly esteemed daily so that I may ventilate my opinion to draw the attention of the concerned / due authority about the anti-social activities in our locality.

     Day by day, the number of anti-social activities is increasing rapidly in our locality. These activities become more active when the shade of night falls. The common people cannot move on desolate road alone in fear of getting robbed or snatched. Especially, the women and girls are the worst sufferers of it. Due to lack of street lights, the activists get more chance to perform their evil acts. So, day by day the cases of stealing, rape, snatching, eve-teasing are increasing. It has become very difficult for citizen to live peacefully. Besides, gambling, drinking and like these activities have made the locality insecure.

     So, being an independent and conscious citizen, I think that the administration should take strict action against these anti-social activities so that we as well as the woman of our family can go out and return home safely.
