Bengali Meaning of the poem 'The Tyger' by William Blake

উইলিয়াম ব্লেক (1757-1827)  ইংল্যান্ডের রোমান্টিক আন্দোলনের অন্যতম অগ্রদূত। The Tyger কবিতা টি  ব্লেকের Songs of Experience কাব্যাগ্রন্থ  থেকে নেওয়া হয়েছে যা 1794 সালে প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। Songs of Experience  কাব্যগ্রন্থ সমাজের দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলে।

বাঘ একটি সুন্দর আকৃতির একটি ভয়ঙ্কর প্রাণী। রাতে জঙ্গলে, তার চোখ আগুনের গোলার মত উজ্জ্বলভাবে জ্বলে। বাঘের শরীরে কে বানিয়েছে  তা ভেবে কবি বিস্ময় প্রকাশ করেছেন।  শরীর টি ভীতিকর কিন্তু সুগঠিত। বাঘের সৃষ্টি কর্তা  অবশ্যই তার চোখের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় আগুন আনার জন্য দূরবর্তী আগ্নেয়গিরির গভীরে বা আকাশে গিয়েছিলেন। বাঘের হৃৎপিণ্ডের পেশী গঠনে তাকে অবশ্যই প্রচুর শারীরিক শ্রম এবং অনেক সময় দিতে হয়েছে। এবং যখন বাঘ একটি জীবন্ত বাস্তবে পরিণত হয়েছিল, তখন তার থাবা এবং পা গুলিকে ভয়ঙ্কর দেখাচ্ছিল। স্রষ্টাও নিশ্চয়ই তার আকার গঠনে বিশাল হাতুড়ি,  চেইন ব্যবহার করেছেন। বাঘটি তৈরি করার সময় তিনি দুর্দান্ত দক্ষতা এবং সাহস প্রদর্শন করেছিলেন। Angel রা বাঘের সৃষ্টি দেখে এতটাই বিস্মিত হয়েছিল যে তারা তাদের বর্শা নিচে ফেলে কেঁদে ফেলল। কবি আশ্চর্য হন যে ঈশ্বর তার নতুন সৃষ্টি (অর্থাৎ বাঘ) দেখে তৃপ্তির সাথে হাসলেন। যে ভগবান নম্র ও নির্দোষ মেষশাবককে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তিনি কীভাবে হিংস্র বাঘ সৃষ্টি করেছেন তা কবি বুঝতে পারছেন না। এখানে বাঘ বলতে কবি মানুষের হিংস্রতা কে বুঝিয়েছেন।

Tyger Tyger, burning bright, ও বাঘ, তোমার চোখ দুটি জ্বলজ্বল করছে

In the forests of the night জঙ্গলে রাতের আঁধারে 

What immortal hand or eye  কোন ঐশ্বরিক হাত বা চোখ

Could frame thy fearful symmetry?তোমার ভয়ঙ্কর চেহারাটি বানিয়েছে?

In what distant deeps or skies কোন গভীর পাতাল বা আকাশ থেকে

Burnt the fire of thine eyes?তোমার সৃষ্টিকর্তা তোমার চোখের জন্য আগুন এনে দিয়েছে?

On what wings dare he aspire?কোন ডানার ওপর ভর করে সে সাহস করে  উড়ে গিয়ে এই কাজ টি করলো?

What the hand, dare seize the fire?অথবা, কোন হাতে সে সাহস করে তোমার জন্য আগুন নিয়ে এলো?

And what shoulder, & what art, কোন কাঁধ (ক্ষমতা) এবং কোন শিল্পী 

Could twist the sinews of thy heart?তোমার হৃদপিণ্ডের মাংস পেশী তৈরি করেছে? 

And when thy heart began to beat, যখন তোমার হৃদপিণ্ডের কম্পন শুরু হলো

What dread hand? & what dread feet?তখন তোমার পা এবং থাবা কি কম ভয়ানক ছিল? 

What the hammer? what the chain, কোন হাতুরী দিয়ে, কোন শিকল দিয়ে

In what furnace was thy brain?কোন চুল্লীতে তোমার মস্তিষ্ক টি তৈরি করা হয়েছে? 

What the anvil? what dread grasp, কামারের কোন নেহাই দিয়ে, কোন হাতের 

Dare its deadly terrors clasp!এত সাহস যে তোমায় ধরে তৈরি করছে!

When the stars threw down their spears তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করতে দেখে angels রা তাদের বর্শা ফেলে দিল

And water'd heaven with their tears:এবং গোটা স্বর্গ কে তাদের চোখের জল দিয়ে ভিজিয়ে দিল 

Did he smile his work to see?তোমার সৃষ্টি কর্তা কি তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করার পর হেসে ছিলো?

Did he who made the Lamb make thee?তোমাকে যে সৃষ্টি করেছে সেই কি মেষ শাবক কে সৃষ্টি করেছিল?

What immortal hand or eye, যে ঐশ্বরিক হাত বা চোখ

Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?তোমার ভয়ঙ্কর চেহারাটি বানিয়েছে তার কত সাহস? 

Substance: The tiger is a fearful creature with a lovely shape. In the forests at night. Its eyes burn brightly like balls of fire. The poet wonders to know who framed the tiger's body, fearful but well-proportioned. The creator of the tiger must have gone to distant volcanic deeps or skies in order to fetch needful fire for its eyes. He must have to take great physical labour and much time in forming the muscles of the tiger's heart. And when the tiger got his life, his paws and legs seemed dreadful and ferocious. The creator/God must have used a anvil, huge hammer, and chain while forming its fearful body. He displayed great skill and courage while creating the tiger. The angles became very puzzled to see the creation of the tiger and they threw down their spears and went on weeping. The poet wonders if God smiled with satisfaction to see his new creation (i.e., tiger). He cannot make out how God who created the meek and innocent lamb also created the ferocious tiger.
