This is an age of science. Every moment we lead our lives with the help of science. It is not possible to make a list of things which science has offered us. From tooth-brush to television; from petty pen to computer wherever we see, we feel that science has spread its hand. Science offers us tv, A.C, fan etc. for our pleasure. Science’s wonderful creation mobile phone helps us to talk with our distant friend at any time. Modern radio, television have brought the total world in our bed room. Besides science-made medicines help us to live long. But now-a-days some people are misusing the science for their own interest. Thus, misusing the science, the terrorists are killing many people all over the world. Overall, I cannot help saying it that the science is so closely linked with our modern existence that we cannot think our daily life without science.

My First Day at School / A Memorable Day in Life

Some years ago, I had my first admission in class-v in a high school. Years have passed but that day is still fresh in my mind. On that day I wore new uniform. With my father I went to school. Hundreds of students were loitering in the school compound. It seemed to be a land of joy and playing. My father took me to the Headmaster. I felt nervous. He asked me some questions and I answered. Then he told me to go to my class room. There so many boys and girls became my friends at the first day. After attending all periods, I came back home. I was very happy as if I had got the heaven. So, it was really a special day for me.

Problem of drinking water

Water is the source and sustenance of life. We cannot think of our life without water. But now-a-days lack of drinking water is a great problem. There are different sources of drinking water in towns and cities. But in villages its only source is the polluted ponds and rivers. As a result, impure drinking water causes many diseases like cholera, malaria, typhoid etc. Excessive uses of pesticides in agriculture cause underground-water polluted. So, the concerned authority should take necessary steps (reservation of rain-water etc.) to protect the drinking water for the next generation. Also, students should make the people conscious about this major problem of our sweet world.
